About Timothy Rattan
Timothy grew up in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia, where he developed a strong passion for athletics. As a dual-sport athlete, he excelled in high-performance baseball and basketball, but like many young athletes, he believed that participating in more sports was always better. Unfortunately, he lacked access to a Certified Strength Coach and proper programming to truly enhance his athletic abilities.
After transitioning to Simon Fraser University, Timothy earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Biomedical Physiology and Kinesiology. While at SFU, he found his passion for helping others reach their goals and chase their dreams. As a former Kinesiologist, he renewed his dedication to athletics, emphasizing the importance of providing athletes with the care and support necessary for proper development. This journey ultimately led him to become a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach.
Timothy has had the privilege of working with athletes at various competitive levels, including high school, collegiate, and professional teams. Most recently, he worked with the Vancouver Bandits in the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL). Currently, as an Assistant Sports Performance Coach for NCAA Collegiate athletes, Timothy is also pursuing a Master of Science in Applied Sports Science.
His goal is to continually refine his skills and provide athletes with comprehensive support, fostering their physical, mental, and personal growth.
